Our Team

At Kindred, strong programs are built by strong teams. Our educators bring different experiences, strengths, perspectives, and responsibilities to their work, but each plays an important role in creating spaces where children feel safe, known, and connected.

Our classrooms and programs are collaborative by design. Lead Teachers and Program Leaders help coordinate their teams, while Assistant Teachers, Aides, Floaters, and other educators contribute their own relationships, knowledge, and strengths to children's experiences each day. Children benefit from knowing that they have a community of trusted adults supporting them throughout Kindred.

Meet some of the teams that make Kindred, Kindred.

Kindred Leadership | Aymee Narvaez & Audrey Proux

Kindred was founded by Audrey and Aymee with a shared vision for child care built around belonging, responsive relationships, inclusion, and genuine partnership with families.

Audrey and Aymee bring different backgrounds, experiences, and areas of expertise to Kindred and work collaboratively to guide program quality, support educators, develop new programs and partnerships, and keep Kindred growing in ways that remain connected to its original purpose.

Sprouts Team | Gwindy Foote & Veronica Perez Valles

Gwin and Veronica work together to create a warm, responsive environment for our youngest learners. Gwin brings about five years of experience working with infants and children and recently completed a teacher training course. She especially loves watching infants learn, grow, and discover new things.

Veronica is newer to early childhood education and is beginning an apprenticeship program to continue growing as an educator. Together, they focus on building strong relationships and weaving nurturing care and meaningful opportunities for development throughout each child's day.

Bloomers Team | Melissa Bernik & Elvia Valles Cruz

Melissa and Elvia bring experience, patience, and a genuine love of early learning to the Bloomers classroom. Melissa has worked with children for more than 20 years and especially loves the toddler years because of the incredible amount of growth and development that happens during this stage. She wants every child in her care to feel safe, heard, and free to have fun.

Elvia brings several years of experience in early education and is bilingual. She has worked hard to earn her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and is continuing her education toward an associate degree in early childhood education. Together, Melissa and Elvia create a caring environment where toddlers are supported as they learn, explore, communicate, and become increasingly independent.

Starlings Team | Alesha Forsythe, Molly Clark & Heather Severin

Alesha, Molly, and Heather bring a strong mix of experience, education, and continued professional growth to the Starlings classroom. Alesha has been teaching for eight years and has completed extensive professional development to strengthen her skills as a lead teacher.

Molly holds an associate degree in early childhood education and brings experience from Head Start classrooms as well as owning and operating her own in-home child care program.

Heather is currently working toward her degree while participating in an early learning apprenticeship program. Together, the Starlings team supports the varied needs of preschool children with a focus on building social skills, developing self-regulation, and helping children learn to love school.

Wayfinders Team | Kate Solomon & Dylan James

Kate and Dylan work together to support Kindred's school-age children, including students in our Pathfinders program. Kate has wanted to be a teacher since she was young and recently completed her college degree. She brings creativity, kindness, and an enthusiasm for supporting children with different interests, strengths, and needs. Before moving into teaching,

Dylan spent three years supporting children with autism and brings a calm, patient presence to his work with children. Together, Kate and Dylan create a supportive environment where school-age children can build relationships, grow in independence, and receive the individualized support they need to be successful.

Support Team | Kit Gauntlett, Logan Dieterle, Koi Quinlan & Tempi Modine

Kit, Logan, Koi, and Tempi work across Kindred's programs, bringing flexibility, energy, and familiar relationships to children throughout the center. Kit is newer to early education but has quickly discovered a passion for working with children of all ages. Since joining Kindred, she has embraced opportunities to learn and is beginning a DELC-approved teacher training program to continue growing as an educator.

Logan brings a fun, engaging presence to the classroom and has become a favorite among many of our children. He also teaches swim lessons and is pursuing his education in engineering.

Koi brings several years of experience working with children and families and plans to continue her education through college while also joining a registered early learning apprenticeship program.

Tempi works part-time while completing high school and brings a unique familiarity with early education after growing up around her family's child care program. Together, our Support Team helps create continuity across classrooms and ensures children have trusted, familiar adults throughout Kindred.

Dylan, Lizbeth, and Clemens bring a strong combination of experience, education, and perspective to Kindred Connect at Eagle. Dylan has played an important role in building the program and developing a strong partnership with the Eagle community. His steady presence and collaborative approach help create consistency for children, families, and the Connect team.

Lizbeth holds a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and is currently pursuing her master's degree. Calm, kind, and deeply invested in children's growth and development, she and Dylan have developed a strong working partnership through their time together at Eagle.

Clemens brings many years of teaching experience, including teaching internationally, and adds a valuable perspective shaped by her work with children in different educational environments. Together, the team creates a welcoming school-age program built around relationships, consistency, and partnership with the school community.
