Our Team

At Kindred, strong programs are built by strong teams. Our educators bring different experiences, strengths, perspectives, and responsibilities to their work, but each plays an important role in creating spaces where children feel safe, known, and connected.

Our classrooms and programs are collaborative by design. Lead Teachers and Program Leaders help coordinate their teams, while Assistant Teachers, Aides, Floaters, and other educators contribute their own relationships, knowledge, and strengths to children's experiences each day. Children benefit from knowing that they have a community of trusted adults supporting them throughout Kindred.

Kindred was founded by Audrey Proux and Aymee Narvaez with a shared vision for child care built around belonging, responsive relationships, inclusion, and genuine partnership with families.

Audrey and Aymee bring different backgrounds, experiences, and areas of expertise to Kindred and work collaboratively to guide program quality, support educators, develop new programs and partnerships, and keep Kindred growing in ways that remain connected to its original purpose.
